The Kansas City area is filled with amazing attractions and incredible people who propel those organizations to major achievements. The Greater Kansas City Attractions Association is pleased to recognize some of those individuals/organizations at the Annual Heart of Kansas City Awards!

Individual Achievement
- George Guastello, Union Station Kansas City
Presented to honor an individual who has gone the extra mile and put forth exemplary effort in helping to further the goals, objectives and spirit of the tourism and hospitality industry.

Attraction of the Year - National WWI Museum and Memorial (Matthew Naylor)
Presented to honor an attraction that has an impact on and demonstrates excellence in advancing the goals, objectives and spirit of the tourism and hospitality industry.

Ambassador of the Year - Linda Brookshier, Clay County Historic Sites
Presented to honor an outstanding front of house staff member or volunteer who demonstrates exemplary effort in customer service while helping to further the goals, objectives and spirit of the  tourism and hospitality industry.
