Let’s face it - whether it’s something as serious as a true crisis or simply an unpopular change to a policy guests may not fully understand, staying on top of the running commentary about your organization in today’s world of lightning-fast communications can be a challenge. Join three experienced communications professionals to learn what to do, what NOT to do and get some tips on avoiding a crisis in the first place.

Panelists include:

Mike Swenson, president of Crossroads, a strategic communications agency

Kathleen Leighton, Communications and Media Relations Officer for The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art

Rob Thomson, Executive Vice President, Communications for Sporting Kansas City

We will be holding Prize Drawings during this event - please bring a prize from your attraction to donate to the drawing!
